Wild camping is prohibited.

There are many camping sites in America, most of them offer you interesting tariffs. Some of them welcome tents and camping cars, others are only for trailers. Most of these camping sites are located in the wilderness, yet very comfortable

A big number of private campings are united under the KOA chain. A bit more expensive and certainly more luxurious and comfortable. Reserve your place in advance should you wish to go camping in high season. In private camping sites you have often the possibility to rent a bungalow. A nice solution even more comfortable for children.

Less expensive than the KOA camping chain, national campings are located in the border of natural parks, sometimes even inside the park, as well as in the main tourist attraction sites. We cannot make any reservation here. The sooner you arrive, the sooner you get your place. Do not hesitate to arrive before noon. Some of them are not even guarded, you can deposit the fee in an envelope and put it in the letterbox especially present for this purpose.

Not as well equipped as the private campings, they are also less expensive. Yet some of them are located in the most beautiful places.
